Kay Scott, PhD, LCSW-R, CASAC

Kay Scott is an Assistant Vice President at St. John’s Riverside Hospital with responsibility for the overall DSRIP initiative within the hospital as well as supervision of The HOPE Center.  HOPE Center provides HIV primary care, Hepatitis C specialty care, HIV specific dental care, HIV prevention services, PrEP services, and primary care tailored to the needs of those currently using substances. HOPE Center also houses the hospital’s outpatient Health Homes Care Management Agency.  Kay has worked at SJRH since 1996 first as Assistant Director for New Focus Center and then as Director of HOPE Center.

Kay holds a PhD from Fordham University and a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. She is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and holds the ACSW credential.  She has an Advanced Certificate in Integrated Primary and Behavioral Health Care  from New York University and is a graduate of The Johnson & Johnson/UCLA Health Care Executive Program.  She has both provided and supervised care management services since 1992.
