Cathy Clancy, MVP’s Executive Vice President, Medicaid and MVP Operations, has devoted her entire career to helping improve the lives of those in our communities who need it the most. After working for several years with providers, community centers, and hospitals, Cathy realized she could make an even greater impact through program development and process management on the managed care side. Thanks to her dedication to community health and well being, and by being a catalyst for expanding access to and improving the quality of health care for more than 170,000 members, Cathy is considered one of New York State’s most forward-thinking executives working in Medicaid Managed Care today. In addition to overseeing MVP Operations, particularly the use of data analytics to improve quality of care and outcomes, she’s also focused on expanding MVP Medicaid and Child Health Plus enrollment into new service areas. In her former role as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy officer at Hudson Health Plan, an organization whose roots were based in community healthy, Cathy, true to her love of helping people in meaningful ways, oversaw the Data Services and Analytics department, which created new ways to deliver personalized and actionable reports for physicians and case managers, thus improving patient care.
